PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel balancer, in which a tire wheel is attached to the tip of a spindle, which is rotated at a high speed, and an amount of unbalance and an unbalance position are measured from a generated centrifugal force, being capable of easily fitting a weight, for correcting the amount of unbalance, to a specified place with no error. SOLUTION: A spindle 3 is attached with a phase sensor 7 to detect an unbalance position while a tire wheel 6 is paused. An inverter 8 is provided to rotate the main spindle 3 at a low speed so that the unbalance position comes to the top position. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
