Method for carrying out a dynamic magnetic resonance measurement using contrast agents, in which contrast agents are added at first and second time points followed by NMR measurements using an inversion recovery sequence. According to the method directly prior to each measurement time, a pre-measurement is carried out for determining a time (T1) that is characteristic of the tissue type. Said time is then used in optimizing the inversion time for optimized contrast.
