The lens holder swing mechanism, to swing a concentric lens around swing axes (A-A,M-M) intersecting each other at right angles, has an equatorial bearing mounting (15) where its compensating degree of freedom is through the swing movements in the bearing mounting (40) at the holder, or the sliding movements in a meridian plane at the lens holder. The swing setting units (20,21) each have a cable drive with three cable sections (20A-20C,21A-21C). The first cable section passes over a deflector (22A,23A) to the first bearing mounting (15,40), and the second section leads from it to a second coaxial bearing mounting, and then the third section moves back to a second deflection (22B,23B) of the setting axes (22C,23C). The cable sections at the bearing mountings are in the swing range of a bearing shield (31-34), each with a meridian guide groove at both ends for a guide deflection roller (39).
