<p>An anti-staining agent for a paper machine which is applied to the paper machine, which comprises, as a primary component, a functional group modified silicone oil having a side chain modified or having a side chain modified and both terminal groups modified. The anti-staining agent has high capability to be fixed to a roll of a paper machine or the like and can impart releasing and water-repelling properties to a roll or the like immediately after the application thereto, and exhibits reduced transfer of foreign matters from wet paper to a roll, as compared to a conventional anti-staining agent comprising a dimethyl siloxane based oil as a primary component.</p> |
