PURPOSE:To improve the operative efficiency of an engine by measuring an air weight flow rate and a fuel flow rate, controlling the air weight flow rate or the fuel flow rate so as to correspond to a predetermined mixture ratio, and controlling the air weight flow rate or the fuel flow rate in accordance with a load temperature. CONSTITUTION:An air and fuel current meters 7 and 10 are provided on an air pipe 5 for leading combustion air and a fuel pipe 8 for leading fuel, respectively, and output signals from the meters are inputted to a control unit omitted from the drawing. Then, a power ratio of both current meters 7 and 10 is judged, and a valve opening rate of a fuel flow control valve 12 is controlled when the power ratio deviates from a predetermined power ratio. Also, a temperature T of a heater pipe 1 detected by a temperature detector 3 is compared with a set temperature Ts, and a service voltage to an air blower 4 interposed into the air pipe 5 is controlled in accordance with the temperature deviation. Thereby, the operative efficiency of an engine can be enhanced, and the clarification performance of combustion exhaust gas can be improved.
