A foaming reduction device (192) minimizes foam created from the recirculated fluid. A spring (74) loaded poppet (70) closes when the dispense head (40) is removed from the bung opening (30). A seal verification conduit (56) is in fluid communication with a space intermediate two seals (138) at a junction between the dispense head (40) and the drum insert (22).
