The invention concerns cosmetic compositions comprising a biotin derivative and/or a complexing agent of said derivative and, covalently bound to one of those two compounds or to both, at least an active principle other than dyes. The invention also concerns a hair treatment method based on said compositions, for producing on the hair a deposition of substance providing novel cosmetic properties.
