PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a sensor by preventing contact of a sensor to water flowing back toward an engine side in an exhaust pipe. SOLUTION: Sensors 65(A-C) for detecting a state of exhaust gas are attached to an upper portion of at least one independent exhaust passage 26e, 30a or 47a of independent exhaust passages 26e, 30a and 47a independently extended from a plurality of exhaust ports 26b formed on a cylinder block 26 of a multiple cylinder engine 6.
