PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand for a pole capable of accurately mounting and dismounting the pole for a flag and a sign by simple operation. SOLUTION: A pole receive hole 3 for pulling out and inserting the pole 2 is formed in a stand body 1 fixed to a mounting object 5. An elastic keeper 4 is constituted of an operation shaft part 4a and a slat part 4b. The operation shaft part 4a is rotatably mounted on the stand body 1 by making it adjacent to the pole receive hole 3 and crossing the pole receive hole 3, and the slat part 4b is brought into pressure contact with a peripheral face of the pole 3 in accordance with a rotation angle of the operation shaft part 4a. A plurality of slat parts 4b are provided, and a difference is set in its effective thickness to tighten the pole 3 tightly or weakly. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
