PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the maintenance of a connecting structure through a spherical sliding bearing between an arm to rotatably support the pulverizing roller of a vertical roller mill, and one end of a connecting rod on which tensile force is exerted from a hydraulic cylinder for roller pressurization. SOLUTION: The inner ring of the spherical sliding bearing is supported by the inner ring supporting part of a support shaft, and the positioning and holding parts of a pair of support covering members prevent the displacement of the inner ring in the axial direction during drive of the vertical roller mill. One support covering member is demounted for the maintenance. One end of the screw rod for pulling out is screwed in a female screw used for removing the support shaft in the state where the pulling out and holding part of a fixture for maintenance prevents the displacement of the inner ring in the pulling out direction.
