PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior board manufactured without using cement and at a low cost by reducing the number of steps in the manufacturing process, and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the interior board by applying a concrete pattern on the surface 1a of the interior board 1 before being mounted and fixed on a mounting place is provided with a recessed board forming step for forming a recessed part 1b for a root hole on the surface 1a of the interior board composed of calcium silicate and a coating step for forming a coating film (a) by applying a synthetic resin emulsion prepared by mixing a prescribed pigment to show nearly concrete color on the whole surface 1a of the interior board 1 having the recessed parts 1b formed in the recessed part forming step.
