PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate material housing frame capable of easily adjusting a clearance even by one hand when the interval of a housing width is set. SOLUTION: The plate material housing frame is constituted so that a pair of side plates 3 having a plurality of parallel support grooves 6 formed thereto are arranged to the inner surface of a frame so that the support grooves 6 are opposed to each other and a means for regulating the interval between the left and right side plates is further provided to make it possible to house plate materials at a predetermined interval. Adjusting projected part 30 slightly projected from the support grooves are provided to at least one of the mutually opposed inner surfaces of members appropriately selected from the side plates. The bases provided to the upper and lower parts of the side plates and the joints for connecting the side plates and the bases, and adjusting auxiliary appliances 31, which bring at least one end parts of the plate materials into contact with the mutually opposed inner surfaces having the adjusting projected parts provided to at least one end parts thereof only by moving one side plate to the other side plate in such a state that the plate materials are placed at the predetermined or proper position between the side plates, are provided in the vicinity of the adjusting projected parts.
