<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the endoscope equipped with a rocking pedestal for a processing tool which is capable of well responding for a delicate and rocking course of processing an affected target region through manipulating a leading edge of the processing tool. <P>SOLUTION: The endoscope is characterized in that it is equipped with a channel 15 opened for a processing tool whose one end is connected with a leading edge of the insertion section 2 and the other end with a basic leading edge of the insertion section 3, where the rocking pedestals 10 and 11 are installed for controlling a protruding direction of the processing tool and a rocking pedestal unit 18 to be manipulated by a remote control wire is arranged nearby the aperture of the insertion channel for the processing tool, where at least one of the rocking pedestals 10 and 11 are rotatably manipulated to both directions by two processing wires, while the ends of the two processing wires on hand are connected with the rocking pedestal unit 18 outside the space that extends from the insertion section over to the processing section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
