PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas injection nozzle which, for example, injects an inert gas into a space for soldering operation uniformly, efficiently and without drawing air into the space. SOLUTION: With one end of the nozzle body (21) blocked, the gas injection opening (22) is formed continuously or intermittently along the longitudinal direction. Using a porous metallic body, pressure adjusting bodies (23, 25, 40) are formed. The pressure adjusting bodies are inserted into the nozzle body longitudinally almost over the entire length, supplying gas from the end corresponding to the other end of the nozzle body. The pore size of the pressure adjusting bodies is such that the gas release into the nozzle body essentially becomes uniform in the longitudinal direction by adjusting the supply pressure. At least one side edge of the gas injection opening is provided with current plates (24) for controlling the direction of the injection gas. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
