PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert a character in accordance with a use condition.

SOLUTION: This portable information communication terminal comprises a use condition acquiring means for acquiring the use condition, a dictionary recording means for recording the dictionary which records conversion character candidates for converting the inputted character, a corresponding dictionary recording means for recording the kind of dictionary corresponding to the use condition, a used dictionary determining means for determining the used dictionary in accordance with the use condition, and a character converting means for converting the inputted character on the basis of the used dictionary.
