PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to achieve improved uniformity of discharge by maintaining the area where the address electrode and the first or second electrode are superimposed with each other constant. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel comprises the first electrode(50Y) and the second electrode formed of a transparent electrode, bus electrodes(51Y) arranged in parallel with the first electrode and the second electrode, and a plurality of cut-out portions(56) formed on the first and second electrodes. The cut-out portions are spaced apart from each other by the spacing of 1/n of the pixel, wherein n is an integer larger than zero. The cut-out portions are not superimposed with the bus electrodes. |
