PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce weight of structure of a spacer used for stopping a telescopic function in an integrated area of a quake-resistant joint without decreasing its strength. SOLUTION: A thin wall cylindrical body 2 has such a length that it can be inserted to a clearance S formed from an end part 16 of an insertion port 11 to a back end 17 of the receiving port without arranging a clearance in an axial direction between the end part 16 of an insertion port and the back end 17 of the receiving port when a protruding part 12 of a quake-resistant pipe contacts a lock ring 14 from back of a receiving port 13. A flange 3 is integrally formed with at least an end of the thin wall cylindrical body 2 and the strength is maintained by the flange 3 and the thin wall cylindrical body 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
