<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure reliability of the operation by improving the accuracy in motor control, even under the condition of a phase current being hardly detected as detecting of the phase current of a motor and driving it by sine waves. <P>SOLUTION: In a motor controller, which is equipped with a voltage inverter equipped with a switching circuit composed of one or more switching elements for adjusting the voltage to be supplied to the motor, a current detector for detecting the current flowing to the motor, and a controller for controlling the switching circuit, based on the detected result of the detector, and controlling the motor, sine wave drive control, where voltage is applied so that the phase current of the motor becomes sine wave form and rectangular wave control, where a voltage of 180° rectangular wave is applied to each phase of the motor are switched over, by the operating state or the conditions of the controller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
