摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroluminescence element and a light wavelength conversion method using the element having excellent film stability and durability and an excellent radiation at low voltage, and capable of facilitating production. SOLUTION: In this electroluminescence element, electrodes are installed on both faces of a laminated body formed of a photoelectric transducing layer and an electroluminescence layer. In this light wavelength conversion method, electrodes are installed on both faces of the laminated body formed of the photoelectric transducing layer and the electroluminescence layer containing the electroluminescence element and charge generating material characterized in that a compound expressed by the following expression 1 is contained in the photoelectric transducing layer, light in a charge generating material absorbing area is radiated on the electrodes, and a voltage is applied to the electrodes to generate light from light emitting substances.
