<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure of a piercing terminal, which can retain connection reliability of a flat conductor of a flat cable to a conductor connecting part of the piercing terminal over a long period of time. <P>SOLUTION: For the connection structure of a piercing terminal, in which a conductor connecting part extended from a base part of the piercing terminal is passed through the flat conductor of the flat cable, and an end portion of the conductor connecting part is bent on a side of the flat cable to conduct the flat conductor to the conductor connecting part, a solder layer composed of solder is formed in advance at a position at least coming into contact with the flat conductor of one surface and/or the other surface of the conductor connecting part, and the circumference of the solder layer is heated, thereby providing a structure that the flat conductor is bonded to the conductor connecting part through the solder layer. Movement of the flat cable on a downside can be thereby prevented even when vibration or the like is applied, and the part of the conductor connecting part covered with an oxide film is prevented from coming into contact with the flat conductor, so that a good electrically connected state can be maintained over a long period of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
