<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily carry out adjusting an angle of an axis of a member such as a radar device or the like mounted on a vehicle without the need for a wide space. <P>SOLUTION: In order to detect whether an axis L1 of the radar device Sr mounted on a vehicle body coincides with an axis L3 through the front and rear of the vehicle body, a lamp 22 and a first polarizing filter 24 are disposed on the underside of a front edge section of a bonnet 10, and a mirror 26 and a second polarizing filter 27 are disposed on the top surface of a casing 15 of the radar device Sr. In the case the axis L1 of the radar device Sr is deviated from the axis L3 through the front and rear of the vehicle body, light emitted from the lamp 22 in which the component (h) oscillating horizontally is blocked by passing through the first polarizing filter 24, and in which the component (v) oscillating vertically is slightly transmitted through the second polarizing filter 27 and reflected by the mirror 26, is detected by an illumination meter 28.
