PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multirotary absolute signal by providing a tapered part at outer periphery of a ringlike rotor and moving the ringlike rotor in the axial direction through a rotary shaft. SOLUTION: The resolver structure and a method for outputting the multirotary absolute digital signal according to this invention consists in that the tapered part 11 is provided at outer periphery of the ringlike rotor 4 and the ringlike rotor 4 is moved in the axial direction by the rotation of the rotary shaft 6 to change a transformation ratio k so as to detect an output voltage level per revolution and obtain the multirotary absolute digital signal 34.
