CONNECTION STRUCTURE OF JOINT PART IN PIPE JOINT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure of a joint part in a pipe joint inexpensively manufacturable to be lightweight by improving workability and productivity.

SOLUTION: A sleeve 16 is slidably fit on an outer peripheral face of a female joint. The sleeve 16 has a fixing ring 17 consisting of a metal material for pressing a lock ball 13 to a ring-shape groove 14 formed on a tip end outer peripheral face of a valve body 2a of a male joint 2 and a cover sleeve 18 structured by a resin material for pressing the fixing ring 17. An engaging part 18b having recesses and projections for making friction surface is arranged on the surface of the cover sleeve 18 and a groove 18d for slidably fitting a projection 18c and the fixing ring 17 is formed inside the cover sleeve 18. The fixing ring 17 is always energized to the projection 18c side by a spring 20 interposed between the fixing ring 17 and a stopper ring 19 fixed to the outer peripheral face of a valve body 1a of the female joint 1.
