PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security door unit composed of a door and a door frame, which realizes excellent security characteristics by using an extremely simple structure, dispenses with special operations, and prevents crimes while being used in such a manner as to be similar to a conventional door unit. SOLUTION: This security door unit is equipped with the door 10 which has a flange 14, the door frame 20 which couples the door 10, and a latch cover 30 which is tiltably coupled to the door frame 20. The latch cover 30, is formed in such a groove shape as to be capable of guiding the flange 14 of the door 10 inward, has a cover side wall 31 which is located outside the closed door 10 and a locking side wall 32 which is located inside the closed door 10. In the security door unit, when the door 10 is opened, the latch cover 30 is opened by an elastic body 39; and when the door 10 is closed, the flange 14 is guided into a groove of the latch cover 30, so as to push the side wall 32 and close the latch cover 30, and the side wall 31 covers a latch part of the door 10 with the outside of the flange 14 in a state in which the latch cover 30 is closed.
