PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film which has high porosity and good film- forming workability, high opacifying properties, good heat stability, dimension stability, and creasability. SOLUTION: The polyester film has at least one layer having (a) a polyimide, (b) a polyester and, in addition, (c) a resin having a dispersion diameter in the film of 0.03-10μm as the major constituting components, and has a density of 0.7-1.3 g/cm<SP>3</SP>and a breaking extension of 65-200%.
