Process to measure the dynamic dampening characteristics of a rocket motor by firing secondary charge

A process measures the dynamic dampening characteristics of a rocket motor by firing a supplementary explosive charge during the rocket motor operation. The resulting disturbance is then measured. Prior to operation of the motor the explosive charge is esp. pre-positioned in a chamber (6) which communicates with the rocket motor burner chamber (1).
