Magenta inkjet printing ink comprises acid red 92 and at least one other red dye in an aqueous solvent. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an ink composition for inkjet printers, comprising cyan and yellow inks and a magenta ink as above; (2) a method for increasing the chromaticity of a magenta inkjet printing ink comprising at least one red dye in an aqueous solvent, comprising adding acid red 92 to the ink.
