The bonnet is opened by a lock unit (1) which is connected to pulleys (3) by means of engaging parts (2). The pulleys are connected to a control causing the lock unit to open the bonnet. The closure part incorporates deflectors (4) joining the pulleys and engaging parts with a Bowden wire (10). the pulleys turn to the right and left of the vehicle.
