The heating and air-conditioning unit for a car is fitted with a valve (50 -52) which regulates the proportions of fresh and recirculated air according to the pressure difference between the fan suction chamber (60) and car interior. This is achieved by opening and closing the fresh air channel (20) and one or both of two recirculated air channels (21, 22).
