<p>A silicon-containing olefin copolymer characterized by comprising (a) ethylene units, (b) C3-20 α-olefin units, and (c) cyclic olefin units having a specific silicon-containing group, the (a)/(b) molar ratio being from 99/1 to 30/70 and the content of the units (c) being 0.1 to 10 mol% based on the sum of (a), (b), and (c), and by having a branching index of 0.70 or higher and an intrinsic viscosity as measured in decalin at 135°C of 0.1 to 10 dL/g; a crosslinkable rubber composition containing the copolymer; and a sealing material, potting material, coating material, adhesive, and crosslinked object which each comprises or is formed from the composition.</p> |
