Welding apparatus has a wheel which is interchangeable and may have a variable size and profile. It is mounted on a metal block heated electrically and thermostatically controlled, a second articulated metal element enabling the pressure on the wheel to be varied. The apparatus maintains a constant temp. pref. for making continuous welds with polyethylene and polypropylene. |
