The adhesive tape (1) for manual changing of rolls with a sheet material wound on them comprises a main carrier element (2) with an adhesive compound whose shear strength on media and gravure printing papers respectively equals 1000 and 2000 minutes when subjected to a load of 1 kg at 23 C and 55 % of relative air humidity. An Independent claim is also included for an application of such an adhesive tape for manual changing of rolls with a sheet material wound on them.
