PURPOSE: An apparatus for a car with solar cells and an additional battery is provided to charge the additional battery with electricity generated in the solar cells so as to use as power source of an air conditioner of the car. CONSTITUTION: A first storage battery(13) is charged with electricity of a car power source(10) through an inverter(11) and a charging unit(12). An air conditioner(20) is operated by power of the first storage battery. A first blower(21) diffuses chilled air generated by the air conditioner into a car room. A solar cell module(70) is installed on an upper part of a ceiling or an outside wall of a car. A second storage battery(72) separated from the first storage battery stores electric power generated by the solar cell module. The air conditioner or a peltier element module(80) installed on the ceiling or a window of the car use the power stored in the second storage battery. A second charging unit(71) includes a booster and a voltage controller. The peltier element module is attached on the window of the car, or on a cut-off film formed on a lower side of the ceiling of the car.
