PURPOSE: A shore protection block with plant habitat is provided to increase structural stability by a porous concrete block and pressed compound earth containing peat, sawdust, paper sludge, rice straw, etc. CONSTITUTION: The process of manufacturing the shore protection block with a plant life habitat is composed of: putting coarse aggregates, cement, water admixtures into a mold to make a porous concrete body(2); mixing and fermenting peat, sawdust, paper sludge and rice straw, then laying the mixture for a plant life habitat. Polishing sand and peat increases permeability and cohesive force, the paper sludge provides nutriment for plants and the saw dust controls the quantity of moisture.
