METHOD FOR MINIMIZING RECOGNITION ERROR OF TOUCH PANEL FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A method for minimizing a recognition error of a touch panel for a vehicle is provided to minimize an input error of the touch panel by correctly recognizing a button based on the information for a pressing time and a pressing area of the button. CONSTITUTION: A driver presses a region of the touch panel by using a finger in order to operate the button of the touch panel. The coordinates are generated by pressing the button. If a plurality of buttons is included in the coordinates, the button pressed more than a set time is recognized as the input button by judging the pressing time of each button for pressing the button. If the buttons set up as the input button are the plural number, the button of the largest pressing area is recognized as the input button by calculating the pressing area of each button. A function of the input button is executed when the pressing is released.
