<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing Musennmai (bran-eliminated rice) which can lower the turbidity of water when rice grains are soaked in the water for the purpose of cooking while removing bran by performing rice polishing treatment of a dry processing without using the water. <P>SOLUTION: The pre-removal treatment to remove the bran remaining on the surfaces of the rice grains subjected to rice polishing treatment is performed by acting mechanical removal force and the UV irradiation treatment to irradiate the rice grains subjected to the pre-removal treatment with UV rays is performed. The ozone treatment to deodorize the rice grains subjected to the UV irradiation treatment by acting ozone thereon is performed and thereafter the post removal treatment to remove the impurities on the surface sections of the rice grains by acting mechanical removal force thereon is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
