PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To vertically move a footrest for placing both feet, by one lifting device in a wheelchair with an electric footrest. SOLUTION: One screw shaft 29 is vertically disposed at an approximately center part in the lateral direction of a support plate 20, and the screw shaft 29 is rotated by a motor 30. A nut 31 screwed with the screw shaft 29 is connected into the rear position of the approximately center part in the lateral direction of one footrest 27 through a footrest arm.
