<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start en engine driving force rapidly without torque shock from an engine stop state in a hybrid vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A drive controller of the hybrid vehicle comprises a clutch 4 capable of separating or engaging the engine 2 and a motor 1 with each other, and a starting means for cranking and starting the engine 2 by engaging the clutch 4 when the vehicle is driven by the motor 1 with the clutch 4 changed into a separation state. The starting means has a first start mode in which the clutch 4 is put into a complete engaging state and fuel injection is performed at an intake pressure of the engine 2 not higher than a predetermined value, and a second start mode in which the clutch 4 is put into a half engaging state, fuel injection is performed, and the engaging force of the clutch is set smaller than an engaging force in the half engaging state simultaneously with the fuel injection or at a predetermined time after the fuel injection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
