<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of coloring glass by coloring the glass with a laser beam, thereby enabling fine writing and providing the easily decolorable and recyclable glass in spite of coloring the glass. <P>SOLUTION: The method of coloring the glass by irradiating the glass into which silver ions are incorporated with a laser beam from a laser irradiator consisting of a laser oscillator, optical modulator, galvanometer, and a condenser lens and objective lens or fθlens mounted on a linear translator, thereby coloring the glass with the silver ions flocculated as silver particulates. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
