PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of accurately producing members for a bicycle frame appropriate for multi-kinds and small-quantity of production without requiring molds and capable of preventing the occurrence of shape error and thickness error in a manufacturing process. SOLUTION: A pipe 20 for a bicycle frame is formed by masking a part of a raw material tube 10 formed of a hollow member and chemically milling the periphery of the masked raw material tube 10 to form the raw material tube 10 thin except for the masking part 11 of the periphery thereof. With this method, since the raw material tube is formed thin by the chemical milling, a mold is unnecessary, and this method is suitable for multi-kinds and small- quantity of production. Since the periphery of the raw material tube 10 is formed by chemical milling, a change of the periphery of the raw material tube 10 can be easily confirmed, and furthermore, since the raw material tube can be formed without machining, even a long-size pipe for a bicycle frame can be formed into a favorable shape.
