PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an I.S. (individual section) glass container forming machine which has an excellently controlled process of performing the blow forming to a bottle in blow forming mold. SOLUTION: In this glass container forming machine, a parison 10 is blow- formed to the bottle in the blow forming mold. The parison is at first suspended from a neck ring mechanism and the blow forming mold is displaced and is closed around the parison under the mouth part 12. The neck ring mechanism is displaced away from the mold, the blow forming head 18 is arranged on the top part of the mold and the final blow forming is performed. A heat sensor works when the parison, during reheating, reaches the bottom part of the mold, supplies a signal to a controller and the controller 30 starts the final blow forming based on the point of time of receiving the signal.
