PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of joining optical parts which have excellent heat resistance, have reduced occurrence of foams in hardening, therefore have no occurrence of defects such as cloudiness caused by foams or the like, and have excellent adhesive strength. SOLUTION: The surface of optical parts made of glass to be adhered is coated with a primer composition containing 100 pts.wt. tetraalkoxysilane, 5 to 500 pts.wt. alkenyltrialkoxysilane, 5 to 500 pts.wt. alkoxide of Ti, Al or Zr, and a solvent. Next, a silicon based resin adhesive composition is arranged on the space between the above optical parts made of glass and the other optical parts, and they are hardened. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
