PURPOSE: A cooling water auxiliary tank in a vehicle is provided to removably install a handle on a cap and to reduce a producing cost by forming an overflow hole on the cap. CONSTITUTION: A cooling water auxiliary tank for a vehicle comprises a body unit(1) storing cooling water from a radiator; a fixed bracket(11) mounted on a side of the body unit; an inlet pipe(12) letting the cooling water into the body unit by being connected to an overflow pipe of the radiator; a returning pipe(13) letting the cooling water into the radiator by being mounted on a lower portion of the body; a cap(20) opened on an upper portion of the body; a handle(21) attached to the cap; an overflow hole(22) discharging steam contained in the body unit by being formed on the cap; a gauge bar(30) mounted on a lower portion of the cap; a scale(31) measuring amount of the cooling water by being arranged on the gauge bar; and a protrusion unit(32) displaying maximum and minimum water level by detecting cooling water level.
