摘要 PURPOSE: Provided is a method of diagnosing cancer by measuring the sugar chain variation of proteins which involve carcinogenesis and metastasis, and exhibit N-connection type sugar chain variation, and a diagnosis kit using the method. This is effectively used in diagnosing various cancers, such as colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, lung cancer, and liver cancer. CONSTITUTION: A protein is selected from the group consisting of prostate-derived factor (PDF), peptidyl-prolylcis-trans isomerase, galectin binding protein, L3 antigen, Mac-2-binding protein, serum protein 90K, tumor associated antigen 90K, and tissue inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinase-1 (TIMP-1). The diagnosis kit comprises antigen associated with the protein, substrate, buffer solution, secondary antigen indicated by color enzyme or fluorescent material, color substrate, and phytohaemagglutinin-L4.
