PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deterioration in the electrical connecting characteristics of the connections between electrode foil and internal electrode tabs or the breakage of the connections in a capacitor element, even if mechanical stressed are impressed upon the connections. SOLUTION: In the capacitor element, the electrode foils 7 and 8 and internal electrode tabs 10 are connected to each other, by intermittently providing the connections 12 formed by means of cold press-welding or ultrasonic welding at appropriate intervals, in a state where the electrode foil 7 and 8 and tabs 10 are superimposed upon another. The tabs 10 are deformed to follow the curvatures of the foil 7 and 8 between the connections 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
