DATA VERIFICATION SYSTEM AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic ticket system which can securely and highly reliably check a thicket one-to-many with a little processing burden.

SOLUTION: A shared key to be used for a verification is composed of first key information corresponding to the classes of data and second key information unique for each of data, a verification device 30 for verifying data holds the first key information of the shared key and stores the data, and a terminal device 20 holds the data and the second key information at least. Then, the terminal device 20 authenticates the verification device 30 by receiving information generated by the verification device 30 while using information transmitted to the verification device 30 by the terminal device 20 and information that the verification device itself has, and the verification device 30 verifies the data received from the terminal device 20 and authenticates the terminal device 20 by using information generated from the information received from the terminal device 20 and the information that the verification device itself has. Both the verification device and the terminal device can maintain a high security level with a little processing burden.
