PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the circuit constitution to reduce the manufacturing cost of an image pickup device. SOLUTION: An imaging device is constituted of a substrate, a plurality of effective pixels formed on the substrate, selection means connected to the effective pixels respectively, and temperature measuring means which are connected to the selection means so as to have equivalent relations to the effective pixels respectively.
