PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the output pattern of a PWM signal becomes only a maximum of (n+1) with respect to the total number of bits (n) of a basic clock and output resolution is restricted, with the result that the improvement of a dynamic range cannot be desired. SOLUTION: A pulse generation means 1 which generates respective pulse signals P and N consisting of an L or H level every basic clock CK according to the value of inputted digital data D, and a differential amplifying means 3 for outputting differential amplification components of the respective pulse signals P and N as the PWN signal, are provided. According to the value of the digital data D, the pulse generation means 1 varies the pulse width of the pulse signal P, and holds the pulse signal N at the L or H level through all the bits of the basic clock CK.
