<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording system, an image post-processing device and a cartridge associated therewith for effectively utilizing metadata showing photographing conditions used at photographing. <P>SOLUTION: The image recording system comprises an image sensing device 2 for generating analog signals, a pre-processing stage 4 for outputting a first digital stream, based on the analog signals, a processing stage 8 for modifying the first digital stream to a second digital steam according to at least one parameter, and recording means 6, 14 for recording the first digital stream as main data and the parameter as metadata.
