<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system capable of effectively using a recording medium by easily erasing an image from the recording medium without requiring troublesome operation while leaving an image supposed to be important. <P>SOLUTION: In this printing system for functionally joining a digital camera 1 and a printer 31, a reprinting mode is set for printing the image selected by a user by operating an operation part 19, and when a print is made by the printer 31 by operating an operation part 36, a system controller 8 forms reprinting history information on the printed image, and a memory I/F 11 records the information on a memory card 13, and when setting an image arranging mode by operating an operation part 19, the system controller 8 excludes the image having the reprinting history information from an erasing candidate, and the memory I/F 11 automatically erases the image from the memory card 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
